We're Home

I can't believe it and I am still very nervous, but WE'RE HOME!!!! Adalynn has done amazingly well. She is eating well and we have even gotten smiles (now that she is off the morphine). We left Scottish Rite around 4:00 this afternoon. She is a little fussy and seems to hurt, especially when the pain meds wear off, but considering they ripped the top of her mouth off, stretched it, and sewed it back on-she is doing great. The plastic surgeon did say that her cleft was a lot larger than what he thought. He said it wasn't the largest that he's seen, but it was large. We will follow-up with him in about 2 weeks (probably right before or after Christmas).

Please continue to pray that she stays on track for a speedy recovery. It has been strangely easy so far and we hope it continues. When I have a bit more time on here, I will post pictures (though you can't see much)!
