Well, I guess Camden decided that it was time for the shell border in the half bath to go. I noticed one morning that part of it was picked at a little bit, but didn't think anything of it. The next day, a larger chunk was peeled off...a few days later a 8-12 inch section was gone. UGH!!! Camden finished the job Friday night and was quite proud of his work. I do have to admit, that once I got it up, it was kind of ugly and really crooked. I didn't even have enough to go all the way around the room. Plus, it was on clearance and only $0.50 at Lowe's-so I wasn't really invested in it. We did have to go buy spray to remove the rest of it since he just peeled off the top layer and and the underneath paper stayed put.
Adalynn is growing up so fast. I can't believe she will be 9 months old this week. John is going to take her to her 9 month well-baby check this week. I feel like she has gained a couple of pounds, but she is still so tiny. This is evidenced by her wearing some of the pajamas Broderick wore at 2 mos old (and he was busting at the seams). I hope to get his picture in them scanned in the next couple of days to show you all the comparison. It is hilarious! It also makes us realize just how much she looks like Broderick, when all along we thought she was Camden's mirror image. I'll try to find a picture of Camden at the same age and let you all vote.
-----new skills for Adalynn....pulling up on everything (including the coffee table)....starting to cruise
....eating lots of "real" food
....holding her own bottle
Hope everyone has a great week. I will post her 9 month stats as well as the photos of each of them and let you vote.
Adalynn is too cute for words!!! Thanks for replying to our site about Reid's tummy troubles. I am sorry you deal with that as well. How old was Adalynn when she had her surgeries? I know I could look back on your site....but my time is limited today. We are heading out to Reid's NAM adjustment soon, and I am behind on many things to organize for that...(and here I sit!) Adalynn is looking just great!!! I am anxious for May for Reid's surgery...did that make eating easier? Do you have any tips on solids with the open palate? We are going to the pediatrician tomorrow, and I am thinking we will be starting Reid on solids fairly soon. I love the post about Adalynn being so tiny. Reid is wearing 9 month clothes and just turned 4 months. He would probably eat Adalynn up!!!! Thanks for your tips...I appreciate them. I am going to give you our e mail in case that is easier for you. I know you are busy...so whenever it works to get back to me is perfect. Much love to your beautiful family!!!! Take care!
ReplyDeleteTold you I was doing too much at one time...here is our e mail!!!! Oops!

Oh my gosh, that picture of her with her Haberman bottle brought back flashbacks!
ReplyDeleteLOL at the remodel of the bathroom.
Hi! I just found your blog! I have an 11 1/2 month old who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He will be having his palate repair surgery next month! Adalynn is just precious! Thanks for the links to other families affected by clefts. I have had a hard time finding others to relate to! I also found out about the cleft at my 20 week ultrasound, but now it's really NO BIG DEAL! I can't imagine him any other way!
