Adalynn has officially received her first birthday gift. It came all the way from Washington State. Her big brothers had a blast opening it. Adalynn's favorite part was the empty box and the card. THANK YOU ABBY (and the Molsee family). This cleft world officially got a little bit smaller!!! You are amazing (be sure to check Abby's blog on the side).
School is almost out and I am extremely sad to say good-bye to a wonderful group of third graders and a very special school. I wish them all the best (they check the blog a lot) and hope to stay in touch. I know Friday will be hard for all of us for many reasons. The first class I had at Bethlehem will make their senior lap around the school as graduating fifth graders. It will be the last time I see many of their smiling faces. My baby will have finished kindergarten with an amazing teacher who is retiring. And I will only have 3 more days with an amazing group of colleagues, many which have become great friends. They each have played such an important part in the development of me as a teacher and many of their families I will always hold close to my heart. It will be very emotional saying good-bye to so many wonderful people. This chapter of my life (at Bethlehem Elementary) began on Camden's first birthday with new teacher training and will end (with the last day of post-planning) on Adalynn's first birthday. Such a special part of my life, beginning and ending on such special days. You can tell the Lord is always at work, especially at Bethlehem (how can He not be?).
God Bless you all!!!
Hi Shannon!!!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see this post! I'm so glad Adalynn received her birthday gift. I actually had tears in my eyes looking at the photos. It just made me realize what a small world we really live in. Anyway, it just made my day!
Happy Birthday Beautiful Girl!!!
